What kind of material are stickers with printed backing made from?
These stickers are made from a specialty 4.0 mil matte white vinyl with a printable liner. The front sticker is UV printed in full color, and the back liner can include your own artwork, message, or branding.
Are stickers with printed backing laminated?
No, stickers with printed backing are not laminated. They are printed using UV ink directly onto the vinyl surface which provides a durable, fade-resistant finish without the need for an added lamination layer.
What makes stickers with printed backing different from standard stickers?
The key difference is that these stickers allow you to print full-color designs on the backing liner, not just the sticker itself. It’s perfect for coupons, QR codes, branding, or surprise messages that are revealed after peeling off the sticker.
Is the back print visible when the sticker is applied?
No, the back print is only visible while the sticker is still attached to the liner. Once peeled and applied, the design on the sticker stays in place, and the printed backing is discarded—making it ideal for hidden or one-time-use messaging.
Can I add a QR code or coupon to the printed liner?

Yes, the front sticker is UV-printed and rated for outdoor use up to 5 years. While they’re not laminated, the UV ink is resistant to fading and moisture, and includes an additional clear coat, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor environments.
Do I have to include artwork for the back print?
Stickers with printed backing are designed specifically for double-sided use, so we strongly recommend including artwork for both the front and the back. The price is the same whether you use one side or both, and the unique value of this product comes from having a printed liner.
If you don't need a printed backing, we recommend using our standard die cut stickers instead.
What are common uses for stickers with printed backing?
This product is ideal for packaging inserts, product giveaways, marketing campaigns, and retail promotions. Brands often use the backing for instructions, calls to action, or hidden messages that surprise the customer after peeling.
Can I use clear or specialty vinyl with printed back liners?
Currently, this product is only available on matte white vinyl with a printable paper backing. If you’re looking for back printing on speciatly materials such as clear, holographic, or metallic, those materials are not compatible with custom back printing at this time.
