Printed Stickers vs. Transfer Decals: What’s the Difference?
Compare printed stickers, like Die Cuts, and Transfer Decals and see how printed sticker material differs from a background-free vinyl design applied with transfer tape.
Are front facing stickers laminated? What kind of lamination?
Yes, front-facing stickers are laminated with your choice of matte or gloss lamination, providing added protection and durability.
What materials and adhesive types can I order front facing stickers in?
Front-facing stickers can be ordered in standard vinyl, clear vinyl, or static cling, giving you the flexibility to choose the material that best suits your needs.
How are front facing stickers applied?
Front-facing stickers are applied just like standard vinyl stickers, only on the inside of the glass so the design shows through. Simply remove the backing and adhere them to a smooth, transparent surface.
What are front-facing or front adhesive stickers?
Front-facing or front adhesive stickers have the image or artwork facing outward on the adhesive side of the sticker. This allows the sticker to be applied to a window and viewed correctly from the outside. On the front of the vinyl, the sticker will appear frosted, with the image reversed.
Front-facing adhesive is a popular choice for parking permit decals, as it allows them to be easily adhered to the inside of a vehicle while remaining visible from the outside.
How do I use front facing stickers?
Front-facing stickers are typically used by adhering them to the inside of a window. This option is especially popular for parking permit stickers, as they can be easily applied to the inside of a car window or windshield, ensuring they are visible while being protected from weather damage.
Can I order front facing static cling stickers?
We don’t offer a separate product for front-facing static clings because it’s not needed.
Static cling material has no adhesive and can stick to glass on either side. That means you can apply the sticker with either the front or back facing outward, depending on how you want it to appear. The same Static Cling product works for both applications.
