Artwork Size Guidelines

To help your design print clearly and fit properly on the selected apparel size, artwork size is limited by both garment size and production equipment. Due to the size of our platen, the maximum size for any single graphic is 15" x 22".

For most shirts and apparel styles, the maximum available artwork area by size is:

• • XS: 10" x 11"
• • S: 12" x 13"
• • M: 14" x 16"
• • L: 15" x 18"
• • XL: 15" x 20"
• • 2XL: 15" x 22"

For tank tops, including unisex tanks and racerback tanks, the printable area is narrower. For smaller placement areas, standard pocket-size graphics are typically 2" to 3" wide, depending on the proportions of your artwork.

For the cleanest print, upload the highest-resolution artwork you have and keep important details large enough to read at a glance. Bold shapes, strong contrast, thicker lines, and clear text tend to print best across apparel styles. If your design includes fine detail or small lettering, consider simplifying the artwork or increasing line weight for a sharper finished result.
