Even paper stickers, which might seem like a greener option, tend to deteriorate quickly and require adhesive removers, which can be environmentally harmful.
The longevity of vinyl stickers actually contributes to their sustainability—since they last longer, they require fewer replacements and generate less waste over time.

From using eco-friendly inks to investing in sustainable materials like wood stickers, we are committed to making responsible choices. Our Partnership with 1% for the Planet
In 2021, we joined 1% for the Planet, committing to donate 1% of our annual sales to vetted environmental partners. Since joining, we have contributed $153,928 to various nonprofits that work toward environmental preservation and sustainability. (updated 3/18/2025)
Our employees at CarStickers.com love the great outdoors—whether it’s hiking, camping, or floating down the Deschutes River during our annual employee rafting trip. Being based in Bend, Oregon, nature is a significant part of our culture. That’s why we are proud to support organizations like Deschutes River Conservancy and Ocean Blue Project, helping them maintain and restore natural ecosystems.
How 1% for the Planet Works
Being part of this global movement means we donate 1% of our total revenue—not just our profits—directly to environmental organizations. The certification process ensures complete transparency, as we provide proof of annual revenue and donation receipts. Spotlight: Pacific Rivers
Pacific Rivers works to protect Western watersheds, ensuring river health, biodiversity, and clean water for future generations. They lead initiatives such as salmon protection advocacy and championing major Wild and Scenic Rivers legislation.
In 2024, we proudly supported Pacific Rivers by donating custom stickers designed by local Portland artists for their events.

Reducing Plastic Waste in Shipping
• We do not use plastic mailers or poly-bubble mailers.
• We use cardboard mailers and recycled cardboard boxes.
• We prioritize sustainability over cost when selecting packaging materials.
Powered by the Sun: Our Solar Energy Initiative
In 2022, we installed solar panels on our rooftop to power our operations with renewable energy. That means that when you order stickers here at Car Stickers they are actually powered by the sun! How cool is that?

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, over 60% of U.S. electricity in 2023 was generated by fossil fuels, while only 21% came from renewables like wind, hydro, and solar.
