Some newer vehicles are made with aluminum, carbon fiber, or plastic body panels that are not magnetic. Because of this, custom magnets may not stick to certain parts of your vehicle.

Before placing your order, we strongly recommend testing your application surface with a refrigerator magnet. If the magnet doesn’t stick, our custom magnet won’t either.

The first place that magnetic signs can have a problem adhering to a vehicle is the corners. Over time, the corners may "flag up," creating the possibility for air and water to get underneath, which can cause the magnet to not adhere well. Rounding the corners helps prevent this problem.

Circle Magnets work best where the magnet can make good contact with the vehicle surface. Deep curves, body seams, and other areas that keep part of the magnet from sitting flat can reduce that contact. Before ordering, look for a clean magnetic panel where the full magnet can sit comfortably against the surface.
