Is a car door magnet safe to take through the car wash?
Although the magnets are weatherproof, we recommend removing car door magnets before entering a car wash. The water pressure and brushes can be strong enough to remove the magnets from your vehicle.
Why do large car magnets have rounded corners?
The first place that magnetic signs can have a problem adhering to a vehicle is the corners. Over time, the corners may "flag up," creating the possibility for air and water to get underneath, which can cause the magnet to not adhere well. Rounding the corners helps prevent this problem.
What should I check before ordering a custom magnet?
Some newer vehicles are made with aluminum, carbon fiber, or plastic body panels that are not magnetic. Because of this, custom magnets may not stick to certain parts of your vehicle.
Before placing your order, we strongly recommend testing your application surface with a refrigerator magnet. If the magnet doesn’t stick, our custom magnet won’t either.

Why should I clean my car door magnet every day?

Yes, our magnets are outdoor-rated. The magnetic material is backed with a UV-laminated vinyl face, making it resistant to rain, sunlight, and road debris. It’s ideal for temporary outdoor use like car advertising or promotional signage.

Yes, magnetic sheeting is often used for car magnets. However, it's important to apply them only to clean, flat, magnetic surfaces and remove them regularly to prevent moisture buildup. They’re not recommended for high-speed driving or permanent use.

Will magnetic sheeting stick to any surface?
Magnetic sheeting will stick to flat, magnetic metal surfaces such as steel car doors, refrigerators, filing cabinets, and lockers. Many businesses use car magnets on vehicle doors for advertising. Magnetic sheeting will not adhere to non-metal surfaces like aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, or glass.

Each magnet features a full-color printed vinyl surface with a protective gloss laminate for added durability and weather resistance. Will car magnets damage vehicle paint?
No. When used properly, car magnets will not damage vehicle paint. Always apply magnets to clean, dry vehicle panels and remove them occasionally to clean both the magnet and the vehicle surface. This helps prevent moisture or debris from becoming trapped underneath.
